DR. SARAH RODRIGUEZ PT, DPT

Dr. Sarah Rodriguez is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, where she was a Merit Scholarship recipient and completed advanced coursework in clinical orthopedics. Sarah attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. At the University of Maryland, Sarah also served as the President of Phi Alpha Epsilon, the School of Public Health’s honor society for academic and professional achievement.
Sarah has over 15 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and enjoys treating a diverse patient population. She works with patients to meet their unique goals and develops individualized treatment plans in order to promote optimal function and recovery.
She is certified in vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance and also treats a variety of vestibular dysfunctions that include BPPV, post-concussion, vestibular neuritis, and other conditions that may cause vertigo, dizziness, or instability. In addition, Sarah has training in pelvic floor dysfunctions and prenatal and postpartum care through Herman & Wallace. Over the years, Sarah has taken over 20 continuing education courses and has been trained in Maitland, Mulligan, IPA, and McKenzie techniques. She has pilates mat and apparatus training through BASI, and is also certified in the Barbell Rehab Method.
Sarah has played numerous competitive sports including field hockey, softball, and basketball. She has raced in four half marathons and completed the New York City Marathon in 2013. In her spare time, she loves reading, traveling, exercising, theater, and enjoying an excellent meal. More than anything, she values time with her friends, family, and daughter, Madeleine.
